TCMS licenses

I have a number of TCMS license questions, some related to old domains that have had TCMS 1 licenses for many years. I've recently registered these domains with Cloudflare and moved the corresponding websites to Better Site Host.

Two of these websites, www.williamelston.com and student.williamelston.com, began as one site reflecting two sides of my art business. Eventually they were split off into subdomains because of their growing size as websites. At that time 1 TCMS license covered all subdomains.

Before moving these sites, I upgraded www.williamelston.com to a TCMS 3 Standard license. My intention is to rebuild the site as a TCMS 3 only site, although it still needs TCMS 1 while that takes place.

The other site, student.williamelston.com, will remain TCMS 1 until I have a considerable amount of time to upgrade it, probably to TCMS 3 Standard. There are some pages that may remain forever as TCMS 1 pages. However, this site is no longer saving changes, and I suspect it's because I lost the TCMS 1 license when I upgraded www.williamelston.com.

What licenses do I need to purchase to have these two sites continue to function as both interim TCMS 1 sites and TCMS 3 Standard sites. I already have an unattached TCMS 3 license that I could register to student.williamelston.com.

Do I need to purchase another TCMS 1 license for student.williamelston.com?

markdown not working

So I seem to have trouble getting help from RWPro regarding the Clean project I'm working on, hence my post here.

I'm trying to get links via markdown in one of the 'boxes' under 'about us' on the homepage of test.moosevoice.com but it's not working.

The live preview function show's it working but doesn't actually work upon saving in TCMS1.

What am i missing here?

targeting a seam background in stacks 6

I am using the layout page in Stacks 6 which is brilliant, all page colours are the same apart from the contact page which has a grey background.. is there a way to target the background of the seam stack as it connects to the footer, and how would I do that?

Problem with FormSnap 4

I've been using FormSnap for years, and have a multi-step form on my website. I noticed a while back that the navigation, which I'd placed on the bottom, was no longer visible. Since I didn't have time to deal with it, I disabled it. I have been trying to test different scenarios to see what the issue is, and if I choose for the navigation to appear on the top it appears on the top; if I choose for it to appear on both top and bottom, it appears on top and bottom. If I choose for it to appear on the bottom, it does not appear on the bottom. Have I found a bug? I've checked the console for errors and found none. Is it possible that my old YabDab FormSnap 4 install is incomplete or something?

No updating on RW 8.9 anymore?

When I see the actual version of TCMS is 3.5 - mine is 3.2 from purchase - I am asking: how to update my stacks? No update was shown in the "Stack updates" window. - Is this a regular change for all the stacks that are still on market? - Actually the app only find the always same old stack updates from yuzool - that did'nt update for years... (2016)

A few weeks ago (7.June) the foundation, the columnist3 and points2 update is working..., also theS4S RatingStack (thats a wonder!!)

What to do now?

Gallery won't display. What am I doing wrong?

I am trying to create a gallery. I have the gallery stack on the page, and when I put in the properties information, nothing comes up in the images.

What am I missing in the process of doing this?
collections / pets-at-the-inn / furry-friends is what I have.

I have furry-friends as the object ID, then pets-at-the-inn as the collection
with the property being gallery.

I have tried changing it around and yet nothing renders in the gallery on preview.
I have watched and re-watched the training video and unsure of what it is that I am missing.
Guidance is appreciated.

No Live Today

I have a short week as I just got back from taking my son down to University orientation. I also have a couple of one-on-ones today. That just means I can’t do a live session. I swear that it's not because Brazil is playing today! I will definitely be working from the sofa while it's on though!

Better Site Host, Fastmail, and Contact Forms

I've been trying to set up Contact forms to use Fastmail SMTP server on Better Site Host. I've successfully set up a Sitelok install to use phpMailer via Fastmail, but have not been successful with contact forms. I'm creating a new password for each application, but have been unable to get the form to send (although it claims I've successfully sent the message.) Is there some secret sauce that I'm missing?

Moving from Rapid weaver and TCMS 3 to stacks 6 and TCMS 3

Will The TCMS 3 content used in Rapid weaver and stacks 5 move seamlessly to stacks 6 TCMS 3 if all the ids are identical?

I understand that the TCMS 3 is stored separately on the hosting site and won't be removed when RW is, is this also correct.?

Font Awesome snippet not working

I'm trying to change an icon with fontawesome but it's not quite working.

Using the Clean project from RWPro.

What am I doing wrong here?
