Since 2 weeks or so Rapidweaver tries to contact scammy domains when I open my main project. I see a connection dialog in Little Snitch. The website at www.mothsoftware.com and it's TotalCMS 1 blog continue to work fine. The other projects for the domains manual.mothsoftware.com and messages.mothsoftware.com do not show this issue. I did some tests with the help of ChatGPT of greping the main RapidWeaver project file. There are no obvious obfuscated Javascripts. Any ideas what might cause this? What else can I try?

I have a F6 form on a webpage at https://TandemMarriage.com/contact I have the FROM email address set, and yet the auto reply emails show they are from a different address (which is my hosts server). Any idea how I can fix this?

If I were trying to steer someone toward Stacks and the Weaver's Space ecosystem, is there a path forward at this point, or has realmacsoftware created what you might call a hard fork with RW Elements? Seems like I recall hearing that RW Classic is essentially a dead end at this point, right? I'm on RW8, version 8.9.3 which still works fine, FWIW.

I have an old website I have built in Foundation using FormSnap 3.0.11 with a contact form on this page... https://www.lawrencedawson.co.uk/existing-client/ Up until recently the form has worked fine but for some reason has stopped working. Thinking this might be a hosting issue I contacted Names.co.uk to explain but they are sure this would be nothing to do with them and an issue with the FormSnap Stack. I changed the FormSnap recipient settings to my own email address and tested it and it worked fine. When I switched it back to my client's email address the form sends but is not received by my client. I could try using the "Use SMTP" setting but I would need to know what settings to put in the boxes. Any help gratefully received. David
To save anyone else the trials and tribulations of getting Total CMS 3 running on IIS, here is what finally worked for me. Set up the site as usual. One strong recommendation: use PHP Manager for IIS. It makes managing PHP on IIS much easier and saves you from manually editing php.ini for every little change. You can get it here: https://docs.lextudio.com/phpmanager/ In my experience, PHP Manager is much cleaner and far less painful than editing configuration files by hand. When IIS is configured, it will create a web.config file for you in the root of your project. Think of this as the IIS equivalent of an .htaccess file on Apache. The important point is this: The rewrite/config changes need to go in the root-level web.config file, not buried inside the tcms folder. Open the web.config file in a text editor and paste the required configuration after the closing </handlers> tag and before the closing </system.webServer> tag. Once that is in place, save the file and refresh the site. Voila โ€” the Total CMS 3 admin route works correctly on IIS. Why put it at the project root? Because if you update Total CMS 3 later, anything inside the tcms folder could potentially be overwritten or changed. Keeping the IIS-specific configuration at the root level protects your setup and makes future updates much safer. Key takeaways: Use PHP Manager for IIS to simplify PHP setup. PHP Manager documentation: https://docs.lextudio.com/phpmanager/ Let IIS create the root web.config. Add the required rewrite/config rules at the project root. Do not place this inside the tcms folder. Keeping it at root level helps prevent future Total CMS 3 updates from breaking your configuration. Hope this saves someone else a few hours of head scratching. anyways we are just adding the rewrite rules to the file you can copy paste from below or tell AI to merge the one it created with these rules . Onto next project <rewrite> <rules> <!-- Total CMS (tcms) โ€” Apache equivalents: rw_common/plugins/stacks/tcms/.htaccess rw_common/plugins/stacks/tcms/public/.htaccess --> <rule name="TCMS prefix public folder" stopProcessing="false"> <match url="^rw_common/plugins/stacks/tcms/(.*)$" ignoreCase="true" /> <conditions> <add input="{REQUEST_URI}" pattern="tcms/public/" negate="true" ignoreCase="true" /> </conditions> <action type="Rewrite" url="rw_common/plugins/stacks/tcms/public/{R:1}" appendQueryString="true" /> </rule> <rule name="TCMS front controller" stopProcessing="true"> <match url="^rw_common/plugins/stacks/tcms/public/(.*)$" ignoreCase="true" /> <conditions logicalGrouping="MatchAll"> <add input="{REQUEST_FILENAME}" matchType="IsFile" negate="true" /> <add input="{REQUEST_FILENAME}" matchType="IsDirectory" negate="true" /> </conditions> <action type="Rewrite" url="rw_common/plugins/stacks/tcms/public/index.php" appendQueryString="true" /> </rule> </rules> </rewrite>

For those that are going to attend the summit this weekend, you are going to be the first to see the future of how we are going to build sites with Stacks. I know that I have been focusing a lot on Total CMS and AI for a while. My goal was to bring it all full circle before the summit. Today I got the first glimpse of that. I cannot wait to show it off at the summit on Friday... I hope to see you there!

Stacks Guru got a little polishin' up!

Just wanted to introduce/re-introduce y'all to Stacks Guru! If you didn't know, there's this little site I built called Stacks Guru and it allows you to search the spoken word of several of our little community's video creators! I've spent some time lately fixing a few issues and polishing up the filters and search. It's powered by Total CMS 3 and BetterSiteHost, so if you think it's pretty snappy to navigate, that's why!

    Thank You Chris Powers

Thank you so much Chris for your patience in sorting out my problem with implementing the TCMS to adjust the text angle on my bible accordion. and the simple solution of using the folder stack for tidying up the swatches into easily findable tabs. God Bless! Graham

Free Total CMS 3 Lite license for every summit attendee ๐ŸŽ

Big news for this year's Weaver's Space Summit (June 12โ€“14). Total CMS 3 is going to be a core part of the event this year โ€” we've got talks taking you from first install all the way through real-world content workflows. I want everyone to be able to follow along hands-on, so I'm giving every registered attendee a free Total CMS 3 Lite license before the summit starts. That's a $79 value, which brings a $99 ticket down to effectively $20. If you're already registered, you're all set โ€” licenses will go out before June 12. If you've been on the fence, this is a pretty good time to grab a ticket. https://www.weavers.space/summit/ Some sessions will go into Standard and Pro territory too, so if you're already on a higher tier you'll get plenty out of those as well.

Columnist 3 - Newspaper style text layouts

https://www.weavers.space/stacks/columnist Columnist 3 is a complete rewrite. The bundle now ships three stacks โ€” a text-flow Columnist, a masonry Columnist Grid, and a Columnist Swatch for Foundation integration โ€” plus a suite of editorial features that turn plain markdown into designed editorial spreads. Three stacks in one bundle Columnist โ€” the main text-flow stack, rewritten from scratch. Drop in markdown, styled text, or child stacks and watch your content flow into responsive columns. Columnist Grid โ€” new masonry-style card grid with lift, grow, and color hover effects. Cards flow in a balanced layout based on content height. Columnist Card โ€” child stack for Grid, with optional per-card style overrides. Columnist Swatch โ€” updated Foundation swatch that emits responsive column styling for any CSS selector. Editorial styles (all new) Drop caps on the first paragraph, in Simple or Fancy serif style. No markup required. Pull quote blockquotes โ€” a plain markdown > quote becomes a centered, magazine-style pull quote that spans all columns. An inline variant with a side-rule and italic is also available. Span headings โ€” force H1, H1โ€“H2, H1โ€“H3, or all heading levels to span across every column automatically. Horizontal rule ornaments โ€” markdown --- renders as a hairline, asterism (* * *), or floral ornament. Code styling โ€” inline <code> as a subtle pill and fenced <pre> blocks with monospace background, with an optional wide mode that spans all columns for long code. Typography controls Widow and orphan sliders for column-break protection. Hyphenation (none / manual / auto) for clean column edges. Text-align, text-wrap (balance / pretty), and per-heading break-before / break-after controls. Paragraphs now flow freely across columns so widows and orphans settings actually do their job. Non-paragraph blocks (headings, lists, blockquotes, figures) still honor the Break Inside setting. Manual .colspan class to break any element out of column flow. Designer-friendly architecture Every setting is exposed as a CSS custom property. Override from your own stylesheet to build themes, respond to dark mode, or integrate with Foundation swatches โ€” no forking required. Native CSS multi-column throughout. Zero JavaScript. No dependencies. Bundle structure uses a product-level updater so RapidWeaver can ship all three stacks together in a single install. Fixes and refinements Safari column-span ghost rendering mitigated with paint containment on block children. Safari compositor-layer jitter on card hover effects fixed via will-change hint. Horizontal rule ornaments render reliably by using height: min-content and overflow: visible, sidestepping Safari's UA-styled clipping. Drop cap padding swapped for margin to avoid Chrome's ::first-letter quirk. Wide code blocks no longer push mobile column layouts beyond viewport width โ€” min-width: 0 on the container lets multi-column collapse to a single column as designed. Margins around spanning elements handled explicitly so content doesn't slam against pull quotes, ornaments, or wide code blocks. Upgrade notes Existing Columnist owners can pick up Columnist 3 at a discounted price: weavers.space/stacks/columnist Projects built with Columnist v1 or v2 will need to recreate their stack instances using the new stacks โ€” the identifiers and settings have changed substantially. 10 Years Strong. WS Summit 2026 is here!

๐Ÿ—“ June 12โ€“14, 2026 ๐Ÿ’ป Online ๐ŸŽŸ $99 ๐Ÿ‘‰ https://www.weavers.space/summit/ This is year ten. A decade of summits. I genuinely didn't know when I started this thing back in 2016 that we'd still be doing it ten years later, and that it would keep getting better. The theme this year is 10 Years ยท Strong, and I think that says it all. If you've been to a past summit, you already know what to expect โ€” great talks, the hallway track hangouts that somehow end up being everyone's favorite part, and recordings you'll actually go back and watch. Your ticket includes all of that plus every session going back to the very first summit in 2016. If this is your first time hearing about it โ€” welcome, and I'd love to see you there. The summit is three days of talks covering web design, development, SEO, freelancing, and business. Something for everyone regardless of skill level. The full speaker lineup will be announced soon. I've got some good ones lined up and I can't wait to share them with you. In the meantime, grab your spot. I'll be posting updates here as things come together. Learn. Teach. Have Fun. ๐ŸŽ‰ Cheers, Joe

PaySnap is Back โ€” Now Under Weaver's Space ๐Ÿ›’

Iโ€™m excited to officially announce that PaySnap is relaunching under the Weaverโ€™s Space brand today. Product catalog, variants, cart, and checkout โ€” no monthly platform fees, no third-party hosted storefront. Just PaySnap, a PayPal or Stripe account, and something to sell.
