Weaver Bites: 🔥 Stacks 6 Fun + Total CMS 3 Buzz + This Week’s Wins

It's been a fun week seeing everyone getting to play with Stacks 6! It's been awesome to see some new life and excitement in many users posts.

I spend most of the past week getting back on track of that Greener Camping Club website. Seems like we are finalizing the designs of the important pages. Feel free to have a sneak peek if you want. I am excited to finally get into the reason that I took on this project, getting Total CMS 3 setup as the backend. While there are already quite a few sites made with T3, taking the entire process on for myself has been such a valuable lesson.

Speaking of Total CMS 3, Chaki had a heart-warming review of Total CMS 3. It 's always nice to get feedback like this. If you have been playing with the T3 Beta, please share what you are building. I know that there are many sites out there that I have no clue exist. Show off your work on the community!

Guy is dealing with the never-ending bias in the world that a website has to be built with Wordpress in order for it to be good. Funny enough that most cases, the opposite is true. How to you handle requests like this?

Scott Williams has released the Feeds Ticker stack. It's a sweet little one trick pony. If you need a ticker, it's a great tool for the job!

Scott Pam has a client that needs to display messages on their website on various holidays throughout the year. He was kind enough to share the project file with the community. The project does require my Tardis stacks and possibly others.

I shipped a nice update to Floaty. Fixes some long standing mobile issues that I never knew existed until last week.

Matthias is trying to build an order form with Total CMS integration. It's a nice discussion with all kinds of brainstorming.

Allison wanted to upgrade her old non-supported Mac to Sequoia. I did this last year and have been happy with it. It doubled my battery life!

I did a new live Stacks 6 Q+A last week. If you are new to the Stacks 6 beta, I recommend that you watch it.

I released updates to PDF Pro and PDF Embed based on feedback from their initial releases. PDF Pro got some pretty awesome features.

Wes McDowell has another great video on Social Media in 2025.

As I wrap this up, I am wondering what I will work on this afternoon. I have so many irons in the fire…

  • Stacks 6 Themes - Working on 3 different themes: Foundation 6, Writer and Reason Pro.

  • Total CMS 3 - I probably have 3-4 more beta releases before we are ready to start going live. All-in-all the product is ready for primetime though.

  • Post Office 2 - After the summit, I felt the need to work on something completely new. So I started a completely new version of Post Office. It’s a new take in that it will be form actions that integrate with your existing forms.

  • PWA Pro (v2?) - Last month I started an update to PWA Pro that adds dark mode support and a few other things. It's really hard and time consuming to debug pwa stuff. I am not leaning towards making this a paid upgrade.

  • Better Site Host - I am not sure if I ever leaked the name of my upcoming hosting company. I have not worked on it since late 2024. I really hope to get some good traction on it by the end of this year.

  • Here is a grab bag of other updates that are in various stages of development: Sweet Button 4, PageSafe 2, Share It 4, Feeds Reviews Pack

Wow, that is a lot! Does anything in that list above make you excited? Reply to this and let me know!

I appreciate you being a member of the Weaver's Space community. Without you, the community wouldn't be the same. Go out there and make your websites great!

Cheers,
Joe
