Hi All,
I'm running an ancient site that was probably built during RW3 or 4 days, and consequently there have been so many changes in RW land that it doesn't look like I'll ever catch up. But recently, in RW9 (classic) I've flipped some fifty fifty slider stacks over to Splider 2 (in a moment of serious self deception I am thinking I might have time to throw Total CMS onto the site since WebYep is long gone now).
Splider 2 has an URL hash navigation feature that I have populated for the slides, but this thing doesn't seem to do anything useful anywhere, does anyone know how this works?
All I can see it inserting is a this tag in the opening div (feedingphoenix is the URL has in this case):
<div class="splide__slide splide-stacks_in_2064880 " id=splide-stacks_in_2064880 data-splide-hash="feedingphoenix">
My assumption is that this will index the slides and allow #slidename navigation to the slide. And I just threw this at Claude.ai and it confirms this should work. I also tried using the top of page magic link to test navigating by div id instead, but I'm not sure whether that would work from the magic link or not. Could be something else in the way.
Any ideas on what's wrong with this?
Don't laugh, this site is ancient, but here would be an example of this URL hash populated for the 4th slide in the splider about 1/2 way down the page: https://creightoncommunityfoundation.org/#feedingphoenix
