I'm puzzling over why I've got a worse Page Speed Insights score on desktop(82) than on mobile(90) and in the analysis for desktop (not mobile) the first thing that gets flagged up is 'Avoid large layout shifts'. I have built this very cut-down test page so that I can test out deleting different items to see what is hurting the site but I'm still none the wiser.
I have narrowed it down to the footer but I can't quite get to the bottom of what is causing a layout shift in what is a very simple 1 column layout.
Can someone with fresh eyes see what I'm obviously not seeing please?
