Inspired by the Summit

Wow, the Summit was seriously incredible! I'm kicking myself for missing out on previous ones โ€“ I learned so much and made some amazing connections. Honestly, laying in bed last night, my head was buzzing with all the knowledge everyone shared. It got me thinking about how I could contribute something too, specifically from my little corner of the Local SEO world.

So, I wanted to share something I've found really helpful when building websites for local service area businesses: the site structure. Basically, the way I organize the website is designed to closely mirror the categories and services I list on their Google Business Profile (GBP).

The way I see it, each of those GBP categories and services is like a key keyword we want Google (and potential customers!) to associate with the business. By building the website to reflect that structure, we're essentially creating dedicated spaces for each of those important search terms.

Now, this isn't set in stone, of course. Depending on how competitive things are, we might need to dig deeper or keep it a bit simpler. It really just depends on the situation.

Hopefully, my little diagram makes sense โ€“ it's just how I visualize things. If anything's unclear or you're curious to know more, please don't be shy, drop a comment or message me! Hope you all have a truly awesome week!
