I just signed up with Hostinger’s VPS service. It’s basically unmanaged (it’s a lot cheaper and thus the learning curve is a lot steeper). I’m just playing and found a lot of things to do. Most of the suggested security measures (name, pw, port, keys) I have taken but I still have a few questions:
When setting up a VPS, do you have a firewall enabled and if yes, then what rules do you use/suggest?
Have you disabled IPv6?
Other “must do” actions I should consider?
