First things first, I came up with a new name for this newsletter. It's now going to be called "Weaver's Digest". I liked the "This week in Weaver's Space" name however, I have not been able to get this out on a weekly basis. I think that new name really fits what this newsletter is.
While we are talking business... Drift is coming along well. The stacks themselves are pretty much ready for primetime. I only need to work on the demos. There is so much that you can do with these stacks that it's hard to come up with demos that give you a good idea on what you will be able to accomplish. They will definitely get released this month.
I took a small respite from Drift a couple of week ago and started some work on Slot Machine 4. It will be the first ever paid upgrade to Slot Machine since it was released 10 years ago. I have made a couple of new stacks for it that are pretty clever. I will get this shipped out after Drift.
I had to take a small break from my woodworking. The alternator in my van died. The mechanics wanted an arm and a leg to replace. So I went down the YouTube rabbit hole and learned how to do it myself. Save $800 in the process. It was not too bad to get it replaced. Working on car engines never really excited me. However, saying some big $$$ was definitely a motivating factor. LOL
Do you like wine? My wife and I have really been enjoying the red wine selection from Apothic Wines. It's affordable and pretty good. They are a little on the sweet side (which I like) and the infused flavors are very enjoyable. Last week, I went to their website and ordered one of every bottle they have. I should note that most of their selection is available at my local grocery store. I am excited to try a special edition that is merged with cold brew. I will let you know how it goes. From the ones that I have tried, I like their Cabernet. This is odd since I normally dislike Cabs. Funny since less than an hour away is one of the Cabernet capitals of the world (Napa Valley).
Getting back to business a little bit... I had a few users think that I deleted their accounts on the WS Community. They were not aware that I moved to new software back in January. So just a reminder that you will need to create new account on the new WS Community. Its so much nicer! I hope you think so too. Sometimes soon I will be sending invitations to users that have not created new accounts. Hopefully that will help alleviate any confusion.
That's all that I have for today. I hope that you are having a great week. I hope to see you on the hangout this Friday. Go out there and make something great!
Cheers,
Joe
